If "Prevent cross-site tracking" is selected in safari settings, it prevents Google from loading the calendar. You can fix this by doing the following:

Click the "Settings" icon on your iPhone

Scroll to "Safari" and click to adjust the settings for your Safari app

Scroll to "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking"

If "Prevent cross-site tracking" is green, tap to turn off

1. Click the "Settings" icon on your iPhone
2. Scroll to "Safari" and click to adjust the settings for your Safari app
3. Scroll to "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" 
4. If "Prevent cross-site tracking" is green, tap to turn off
5. Refresh your Safari page!
