Are you a landlord looking for your unit code? Not sure what it is or where to find it? No worries! This guide explains what a unit code is, where to find it, and how to share it with prospective tenants.
What is a Unit Code?
A unit code is a unique, 6-character code automatically generated for each unit in RentRedi. It helps prospective tenants identify the correct rental unit when prequalifying or applying.
How to Find Your Unit Code
From your RentRedi dashboard, click ❯❯ (Expand sidebar) at the top left.
Go to Properties & Units ➜ Units.
Select the unit you want to find the code for.
In the Overview tab, find the Unit Code section, as shown in the example image. Click the code to copy it.
You can share the unit code with prospective tenants via text or email so they can find your unit and start their application in RentRedi.
Where Else Can You Find Your Unit Code?
Your unit code is also available when you:
Invite prospective tenants: The code is included when you invite someone to prequalify or apply.
Share your rental listing: If you've enabled Allow to prequalify from listing, prospective tenants can prequalify directly from your listing.
RentRedi listings: A Prequalify button appears on the listing.
Realtor.com listings: Instructions for prequalifying are included in your property listing description.
