Need to remove a lease from a unit? No problem! 😊

Whether you're terminating a current lease, deleting a lease, or canceling a lease that hasn't started yet, you can manage it directly from RentRedi. Follow the steps below to get started!

Delete a Lease

  1. From your RentRedi dashboard, go to Properties.

  2. Select the unit.

  3. On the Overview tab, find the Lease Details card.

  4. Click the menu ➔ Select Delete Lease.

  5. When prompted, click Delete to confirm.

  6. In the next prompt, choose whether to delete the future charges linked to the unit:

    • No, Keep Charges — Keeps the future charges. Tenants will still be able to view and pay them.

    • Yes, Delete Charges — Removes the future charges linked to the unit.

Note: Deleting a lease does not automatically delete future charges. Review the charges before confirming to make sure you select the option that works best for your situation.

Cancel an Upcoming Lease

If you've added a lease renewal by mistake, or the tenant changed their mind, you can choose to cancel the Upcoming lease instead.

  1. Go to the unit's Leases tab.

  2. Find the Upcoming Lease.

  3. Click the menu ➔ Select Cancel.

Note: This removes the upcoming lease and any unpaid charges associated with it. Your current lease and tenants remain unchanged.
