Want to enter a lease renewal for your tenant’s charges in RentRedi?
No worries—we’ll walk you through it below. 😊
Follow the instructions below! 👇
From your RentRedi dashboard, click the Properties tab.
Select the unit you want to update.
Under Current Lease, click + Add New.
On the Select Unit screen, the unit details will already be pre-filled to create rent charges. Click Continue.
On the Tenants step, the current tenant assigned to the unit will appear.
Add or remove tenants as needed if there are any new move-ins or move-outs not included in the lease.
Click Continue when ready.
Under Charge Details, enter the Rent Amount, Lease Start Date, and Lease End Date.
Optional:
Check the Month-to-Month box for leases without a fixed end date.
Review Charge Every, which determines how often rent charges are created and when they are due.
Rent Reminders are enabled by default so tenants are notified of their rent obligations.
Enable Require tenants to pay oldest charges first to ensure past-due balances are paid before current or new charges.
Enable Credit Boosting to encourage on-time payments—tenants’ on-time rent can count toward their credit, with an average +26-point increase in one year, helping reduce late payments and improve retention.
In the Edit and Save section, review the lease charges to confirm the amount, description, and due dates are correct.
Click Save.
Done! Your lease renewal charges have been successfully added.🎉
