Did you receive an email to update your Payment Account information?

Email Subject: [Action Required] Validate Your Payment Account to Collect Rent

If you received this email, it means the payment processor, Stripe, needs you to take action to update or verify your account information. This helps ensure your payment details are accurate and that your rent payments process smoothly.

❓ What to Do

You have a few ways to update your payment account: 👇

➡️Option 1: Use the Email Link

The email you received includes a direct link. Simply click the button that says "Fix Account Now" to access your account and update your information.

➡️Option 2: Update It in RentRedi

  1. From your RentRedi dashboard, click the down arrow next to the Rent section

  2. Select Payment Accounts from the dropdown menu​

  3. You'll see the Stripe payment account with an Action Required status

  4. Click Open Dashboard on the account

  5. You’ll be prompted to update the information that couldn’t be verified


🔍 Common Issues to Check

  • Name mismatch: Your full name must match IRS records exactly.

  • SSN typo: Double-check the last 4 digits of your SSN.

  • EIN/business name mismatch: Your business name should exactly match IRS records.

⏱️ What to Expect After Updating

  • Most accounts are verified and enabled within a few minutes after successful updates.

  • In some cases, Stripe may require a manual review, which can take several hours or up to one business day.
