Steps to Add a Payment Account

  1. Access Payment Accounts

    • From your RentRedi dashboard, type Payment Account in the search bar at the top left.

    • Click on the Payment Accounts result.

    • On your Payment Accounts page, click Add Account.

  2. Getting Started

    • If you already have an existing account, you can copy it as a template.

    • Or, select Start a new account to create a fresh one.

  3. Bank Info Step

    • Enter your bank account name.

    • Connect Bank Account – Log in to your online banking securely through Stripe for instant connection.

    • Select the account type: Individual or Business.

    • Click Save & Continue.

  4. Personal Info Step

    • Enter your legal name (must match your SSN).

    • Enter your date of birth and address.

    • Click Save & Continue.

  5. Business Info Step (only if account type is Business)

    • Enter your legal business name (must match your EIN).

    • Enter your Employer Identification Number (EIN).

    • Enter your business address (must be a physical address).

    • Click Save & Continue.

  6. Signature & Verification Step

    • Enter your Full Public Name – this is the name that will appear on tenants’ bank statements.

    • Enter the last 4 digits of your SSN or ITIN – required for a one-time security check. (This is a soft pull and does not impact your credit. RentRedi does not store your SSN or ITIN.)

    • Re-enter your full name to confirm your signature.

    • Check the box to agree to the terms.

Done! Your payment account has been successfully saved! ✅
