If you added tenants and lease charges to a rented unit, but the unit is still being shown as "Vacant", it could be due to the lease start and end dates.
A unit will appear as Vacant if today's date is:
Before the lease start date, or
After the lease end date
The Rented, Expiring, and Vacant statuses are determined by the lease dates entered for the unit.
If the lease has not started yet (or if it has already ended), the unit will be marked as Vacant. Once the lease becomes active, the unit status will automatically update to Rented.
Unit Status Definitions
Vacant – The lease has not started yet or has already ended.
Rented – An active lease is currently in effect.
Expiring – The lease is active and within 90 days of its end date.
