Renewing a lease or extending a tenant's stay? 😊 

RentRedi makes it easy to set up the next lease term in advance while keeping the current tenant's rent charges in place.

If the tenant is renewing at the same rent amount, you can extend the existing lease.

From your <a href="https://app.rentredi.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">RentRedi dashboard</a>, go to Properties.

On the Overview tab, find the Lease Details card.

Update the Lease End Date to the new end date for the renewed term.

Select the tenant(s) responsible for the charges.

- Click + Add Tenant if a new tenant is joining the lease.
- Optional: Enable Credit Boosting for $5.99 per tenant per month.
- To exclude a tenant from the charges, click their name to deselect them.

Review the charge preview. You can adjust charge amounts, descriptions, and due dates, or delete or duplicate individual charges.

1. From your <a href="https://app.rentredi.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">RentRedi dashboard</a>, go to Properties.
2. Select the unit you're renewing.
3. On the Overview tab, find the Lease Details card.
4. Click Edit Lease.

5. Update the Lease End Date to the new end date for the renewed term.

6. Select the tenant(s) responsible for the charges.
 - Click + Add Tenant if a new tenant is joining the lease.
 - Optional: Enable Credit Boosting for $5.99 per tenant per month.
 - To exclude a tenant from the charges, click their name to deselect them.
7. Review the charge preview. You can adjust charge amounts, descriptions, and due dates, or delete or duplicate individual charges.
8. Click Save Lease Charges.

Renew a Lease With a Rent Increase

If the tenant is renewing with a new rent amount, create a new lease for the upcoming term.

Click the ⋮ menu ➔ Select Add New Lease.

Enter the new lease details, including the new rent amount, start date, and end date.

2. Select the unit you're renewing.
3. On the Overview tab, find the Lease Details card.
4. Click the ⋮ menu ➔ Select Add New Lease.

5. Enter the new lease details, including the new rent amount, start date, and end date.

6. Select the tenant(s) responsible for the charges.
 - Click + Add Tenant if a new tenant is joining the lease.
 - Optional: Enable Credit Boosting for $5.99 per tenant per month.
 - To exclude a tenant from the charges, click their name to deselect them.
7. Review the charge preview. You can adjust charge amounts, descriptions, and due dates, or delete or duplicate individual charges.
8. Click Create Charges.

Note: To view your current and upcoming lease details, go to the Leases tab within the unit. This also lets you keep track of your lease history.

Added a renewal by mistake, or the tenant changed their mind? No problem!

Click the ⋮ menu ➔ Select Cancel.

1. Go to the unit's Leases tab.
2. Find the Upcoming Lease.
3. Click the ⋮ menu ➔ Select Cancel.

Note: This removes the upcoming lease and any unpaid charges associated with it. Your current lease and tenants remain unchanged.
