Using the Leases Tab

leases tab, lease history, current lease, upcoming lease, previous lease, lease timeline, view lease, lease details, lease renewal

Written by Riz

Every unit in RentRedi now has a Leases tab that shows that unit's full lease timeline in one place. 🎉

Instead of piecing lease history together from charges, you can see what the tenant is on today, what is queued up next, and what came before.

Where to Find the Leases Tab

  1. From your RentRedi dashboard, go to Properties.

  2. Select a unit.

  3. Open the Leases tab.

What You'll See

The Leases tab organizes the unit's lease history by status.

  • Current — The lease currently in effect, including the lease term, rent, and tenants.

  • Upcoming — A future lease that's scheduled to begin, such as a renewal or a lease for an incoming tenant.

  • Previous — Lease terms that have already ended, giving you a record of the unit's lease history.

  • Expired — Leases that have passed their end date without being renewed or extended.

What You Can Do From Here

Use the menu under Actions to quickly manage your current or upcoming lease.

  1. Current Lease

    • Edit Lease — Update the lease details, including dates, rent, or tenants.

    • Convert to Month-to-Month — Continue the lease on a month-to-month basis.

    • Delete — Remove the current lease.

  2. Upcoming Lease

    1. Edit Lease — Update the upcoming lease details.

    2. Cancel — Remove the upcoming lease and its unpaid charges.
