The Tenants list gives you a quick overview of everyone associated with your properties.

At the top of the page, tenants are organized into the following tabs:

  • Current – Active tenants currently renting your property.

  • Moving In – Tenants with an upcoming lease who have not started yet.

  • Leaving – Tenants whose lease is ending or who are moving out.

  • Accepted – Applicants who have been accepted as Tenants.

  • Rejected – Applicants who were not approved.

  • Prior – Former tenants who are removed from your property.

Understanding Moving In vs. Leaving (Turnover Units)

When a rental unit is turning over, you may have both an outgoing tenant and an incoming tenant associated with the same unit at the same time.

To keep lease information accurate, RentRedi displays each tenant's own lease details separately.

  • Moving In — Shows tenants whose lease has been added and is about to start.

  • Leaving — Shows tenants whose lease is about to expire or has already expired.

Lease Information for Current Tenants

For tenants in the Current tab, the Rent, Lease Start, and Lease End columns always reflect the unit's active lease charge.

Lease Renewals

If a tenant renews their lease, the Tenants list automatically updates once the renewal is applied to the unit. You'll see the updated:

  • Rent amount

  • Lease start date

  • Lease end date

"Not on Lease" Label

If a current tenant has not yet been connected to a unit's lease charges, their lease end date columns will display Not on lease.
