Have a new tenant who needs to be added to an existing lease? No problem! 😊

Follow the steps below to connect the tenant to the lease and include them in the lease charges.

Connect a New Tenant to an Existing Lease

From your <a href="https://app.rentredi.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">RentRedi dashboard</a>, go to Properties.

On the Overview tab, find the Lease Details card.

Click Next to continue to Tenants.

Under Select Tenant, choose the tenant(s) to include.

- If the tenant hasn't been added yet: Click +Add Tenant.
 
 - Enter the tenant's first name, last name, email, and phone number.
 - Choose Send Now to send the tenant an invite, or Send Later to add the tenant without sending an invite.
 - Click Add Tenant.
 
 - Select the newly added tenant from the list.
- If the tenant has already been added: Click their name to select them.

- Optional: Enable Credit Boosting for $5.99 per tenant per month.
- To remove a tenant from the charges, click their name to deselect them.

Review the charge preview. You can adjust the amount, description, or due date, or delete or duplicate individual charges.

1. From your <a href="https://app.rentredi.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">RentRedi dashboard</a>, go to Properties.
2. Select the unit.
3. On the Overview tab, find the Lease Details card.
4. Click Edit Lease.

5. Click Next to continue to Tenants.
6. Under Select Tenant, choose the tenant(s) to include.
 - If the tenant hasn't been added yet: Click +Add Tenant.
 
 - Enter the tenant's first name, last name, email, and phone number.
 - Choose Send Now to send the tenant an invite, or Send Later to add the tenant without sending an invite.
 - Click Add Tenant.
 
 - Select the newly added tenant from the list.
 - If the tenant has already been added: Click their name to select them.
 
 - Optional: Enable Credit Boosting for $5.99 per tenant per month.
 - To remove a tenant from the charges, click their name to deselect them.
7. Review the charge preview. You can adjust the amount, description, or due date, or delete or duplicate individual charges.
8. Click Save Lease Charges.

Done! ✅ The new tenant is now connected to the existing lease and included in the lease charges.
