RentRedi's Credit Boosting feature allows eligible on-time rent payments to be reported to TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian, helping tenants build their credit history.
Tenants can enroll in Credit Boosting on their own through their RentRedi account. Learn how Credit Boosting works for tenants.
With Landlord-Paid Credit Boosting, you can cover the cost for your tenants so they can enroll without paying the monthly fee themselves.
Pricing
When Landlord-Paid Credit Boosting is enabled, the fee is charged to the primary RentRedi account holder using the same payment method used for RentRedi subscription charges.
The plan auto-renews for the length of the lease until it is canceled.
Monthly plan: $5.99/month for each enrolled unit
The charge is based on the number of tenants in the unit who enroll in Credit Boosting.
Past rent payments: $5.99 for each prior rent payment the tenant submitted through RentRedi, if you choose to cover past payments.
Notes:
Experian only reports the current month's rent. Previous rent payments aren't reported to Experian.
Only rent payments made through RentRedi are eligible for reporting.
Your tenants still need to enroll in Credit Boosting from their own RentRedi account.
Enable Landlord-Paid Credit Boosting
Follow these steps to cover Credit Boosting for your tenants: 👇
From your RentRedi dashboard, click the ❯❯ (Expand sidebar) button at the top left.
Go to Tenants ➜ Credit Boost.
Click Get Started.
Select the property and unit where you want to cover Credit Boosting.
Optional: Check the box to cover past rent payments. Past payments cost $5.99 per month.
Click Add Credit Boost.
That's it! ✅
Once enabled, RentRedi will cover the Credit Boosting fee for tenants in that unit when they choose to enroll through their own RentRedi accounts.
Unenroll from Landlord-Paid Credit Boosting
You can stop covering Credit Boosting for a unit at any time:
From your RentRedi dashboard, click the ❯❯ (Expand sidebar) button at the top left.
Go to Tenants ➜ Credit Boost.
Select the enrolled unit.
Click Cancel Plan.
Done! ✅
