How to Book a Repair

To use the Book a Repair feature, you’ll first need to create a maintenance request (if one hasn’t already been submitted).

Step 1: Create a Maintenance Request

  1. From your RentRedi dashboard, click + Add Request next to the Maintenance section.

  2. Select the property and unit.

  3. Enter a description of the issue.

  4. Select a category/type.

  5. Fill in any additional details, if applicable.

  6. Set a priority level.

  7. Add a due date, if applicable.

  8. Upload images or videos of the issue.

  9. Click Next.

  10. Review the request details.

  11. Click Confirm Request.

Once submitted, you’ll see a success message. Click Go to Maintenance.

Step 2: Booking a Repair

Now that the maintenance request has been created (or you received a request from your tenant), follow the steps to start booking a repair with a vetted contractor.

  1. Go to the Maintenance section of your dashboard.

  2. Open the maintenance request you want to address.

  3. Find the Schedule a Repair Now section.

  4. Click Get Started.

  5. Follow the prompts to book a repair with a vetted contractor.

Once completed, the repair will be scheduled, and the contractor will coordinate the next steps. ✅
