Why Am I Seeing "You Are Not a Tenant Yet"?

Seeing this message might be because the email address associated with your account doesn’t match the one your landlord used to invite you.

Seeing “You Are Not a Tenant Yet” in the RentRedi App?

No worries—this just means your tenant account hasn’t been linked properly. Here's how to fix it! 👇

1. Search for the Email Invitation

  • Look for an email with the subject "Your Landlord Has Invited You To Join RentRedi" sent from [email protected].

  • Check which email received the message, then update your account email using this link.

Your email must match the one used for the RentRedi invite.

Invites are linked to the specific email address entered by your landlord. To accept the invite, you can:

  • Update your email to match the invited address, or

  • Ask your landlord to resend the invite to a different email.

After updating your email, a pop-up on tenant.rentredi.com will appear, allowing you to accept the invite.

2. Can't Find the Email?

  • Ask your landlord to resend the invitation to the email address you signed up with.

You need to provide your landlord with your correct email address.

This ensures the RentRedi invite is sent to the right email. Sometimes landlords may use the wrong email or skip sending an invite, so confirming your email guarantees you receive it and can complete the setup.

3. Landlord Not Responding?

  • Contact RentRedi Support with the following information:

    • Your landlord’s full name or property management company name

    • Your property address and unit number

Why contact support if your landlord isn’t responding?

RentRedi Support can help! If you’re unable to reach your landlord, we’ll contact them on your behalf to make sure your account and invites are updated. 😊

4. Troubleshooting: Sign Out and Manually Log In

  • If you’re using an iPhone, Private Relay may affect your login.

    • iPhones with Private Relay enabled can mask your Apple ID email, which may cause connection issues or account mismatches in RentRedi.

To resolve this:

  1. Sign out of the RentRedi app.

  2. Sign back in using your email and password (do not use “Sign in with Apple”).

This ensures your account connects correctly and avoids any mismatches caused by masked emails.
