Need to back up a charge with an invoice, receipt, or bill?

RentRedi lets you attach one document to a one-time Other Charge, making it easier to provide supporting documentation for your tenants. 📎

Follow the steps below to attach a document when creating a charge.

How to Attach a Bill

  1. From your RentRedi dashboard, click + Create New.

  2. Under Charges, select Other Charge.

  3. Enter the charge details: amount, charge type, description, and due date. Make sure Total Occurrences is set to 1.

  4. Toggle on Attach Document.

  5. Drag and drop your file into the upload area, or click to select a file from your device.

  6. Continue to Select Unit & Tenant and choose the appropriate unit and tenant.

  7. Continue to Review Charges, then click Create Charges to save.

That's it! 🎉 Your document is now attached to the charge for your tenant to view.

Important Notes:

  • One-time charges only: The Attach Document option is available only for one-time Other Charges. It won't appear for recurring charges.

  • Account owner only: This feature is currently available to the account owner. The option isn't displayed for teammates or in demo mode.
