You can set up different payment accounts for each property and indicate which bank account rent payments will go to. Payment accounts are unlimited, so you can set up a payment account for each property or unit! 😊

After you create your payment account, you can connect it to the respective property using the tour/instructions below. You can also see which properties or units are connected to which payment accounts and change these payment account connections if needed!

Want to view your payment account connections and see which payment account your property will send rent to?

Take the tour, and we'll show you how. πŸ˜„

Or, follow the steps below! πŸ‘‡

  1. From your RentRedi dashboard, click the Sidebar Toggle.

  2. Click Payments, then select Payment Accounts.

  3. You'll see your Payment Accounts page, then click on Property Connections.

Note: β€œInherit from Property” means the unit is using the same payment account that is assigned at the property level.

  7. You can set a Global default account for automatic connections when you create/add new properties in RentRedi.

    1. Click the Pencil button for Global Primary or Global Security Deposit, then select the payment account you want to set as your default account.

Done! πŸŽ‰

Tip: πŸ’‘

  • The Primary payment account receives all standard payments such as rent, late fees, repairs, utilities, and other charges.

  • The Security deposit account (optional) receives payments for charges labeled β€œTenant Security Deposits Held.”

  • β€œInherit from Property” means the unit is using the same payment account that is assigned at the property level.

  • Don’t see the payment account you want?
Click + Add New to add a new payment account.

  • Have a property that's not collecting payments?
You can choose Skip Connection for the property. Note: Selecting this option skips the property from payment collections.
