Tenants can purchase renters insurance directly through their RentRedi tenant app. As a landlord, you can view their insurance status from your RentRedi dashboard.
š How to Check a Tenantās Insurance Status
Log in to your RentRedi dashboard.
Click the "Renters" tab.
Locate the tenant in the list.
You'll see a shield icon on the right-hand side of each tenant's row:
š¢ Green Shield ā The tenant has purchased renters insurance or uploaded proof of insurance
š“ Red Shield ā No insurance has been purchased or uploaded.
ā±ļø Note: It may take up to 2 business days for a tenantās insurance purchase to appear on your dashboard.

Green Shield:
Click on the shield to review the insurance document uploaded by the tenant.Red Shield:
Click the red icon to send a push notification reminding the tenant to purchase insurance if itās required by their lease.

Click into a tenantās profile to see more details under the Insurance section.

If a tenant has provided proof of insurance outside the platform, you can manually mark them as insured by selecting "Mark as Insured" on their tenant card.
