Troubleshooting: Teammate Account Asked for Subscription Payment

Occasionally, a teammate account may see a pop-up asking to complete a subscription payment.

This usually happens when:

  • A teammate or maintenance user creates a property under their own account instead of the main landlord’s account, or

  • The user signed up as a landlord or property manager instead of accepting their teammate invite.

If a teammate is experiencing issues where they are taken to the setup screen/being asked to complete payment

🔧 How to Fix the Issue

  1. As the teammate, go to your email inbox.

  2. Look for the Teammate Invite email.

    • Subject: [Action Required] Accept Teammate Invite

  3. Click the blue “Connect” button in the email.

  4. A new RentRedi page will open — make sure to toggle to the shared account that was granted access to you (the landlord’s account).
