If you have a chargeback that says "Other fraud - Card Absent Environment", it is possible that a tenant has disputed their own payment. However, the landlord is able to dispute the chargeback.

When it comes to disputing the chargeback, the landlord has to provide sufficient evidence that the payment the tenant made is legitimate.

This reason code indicates that the cardholder is claiming that they did not authorize or participate in a card-not-present transaction, and therefore it must be fraudulent.
