Need to transfer the primary account to your teammate? No worries, we’ve got you covered!
Follow the steps below to make the transition quick and easy.
Phase 1: Steps for the Teammate
If your teammate is currently using the same email address on an existing RentRedi account, they will first need to delete that account so the email becomes available to use for the primary account transfer.
If you are not already logged into the RentRedi app, you will need to log in with your email address and password
In the pop-up that appears, enter the email and password associated with your teammate's account to verify your account access
Click Delete Account
The account deletion request email is sent to your inbox with a button to confirm you want to delete your account
Account deletion requests will expire in 1 hour
If you click the button to confirm account deletion, a new tab will open and show the success message that indicates your account was successfully deleted
Phase 2: Steps for the Owner / Primary User
Now that your teammate’s account has been deleted, you can update the primary email on the account to your teammate’s previous email address. This will allow them to take over as the primary user in RentRedi.
Enter your current email address
Enter your password
Enter your new email address
Check your current email inbox for a confirmation email
Open the email titled “Confirm email change request” and click Confirm your email
Next, check your new email inbox for a second confirmation email
Click Confirm your email in that message to complete the update
All set! The email has been successfully updated. ✅
Phase 3: Optional Step
Now that your teammate is the primary user, they can add the previous owner/primary user back as a teammate so they can still access RentRedi anytime.
