ACTION REQUIRED: Your payment accounts are no longer supported. Tenants will be unable to submit rent payments until action is taken.
In order to continue processing payments, you must recreate your payment accounts. Our previous payment processor, ProPay, can no longer support payments for your account, and you MUST migrate to our new payment processor, Stripe. This transition will also speed up your funding, with deposits arriving within 2-3 business days.
You have two options to complete this process:
1. Migrate Now (Manual Process)
Pros:
Tenants can resume paying rent right away
Funding will arrive faster (within 2-3 business days)
Cons:
You will need to manually create a new payment account
Tenants will need to update their payment method
How to Migrate Manually:
Once you create your new payment account and connect it to your properties, we will automatically notify your tenants via SMS and email with instructions on how to update their payment methods.
2. Wait for Us to Migrate You Automatically
Pros:
No action required from you or your tenants
We handle the entire process
Cons:
You won’t be able to receive rent payments until the migration is complete, which will take 1-2 weeks (but will be completed before November)
If you choose this option, you MUST accept the Stripe Terms and Conditions. We will notify you once the migration is finished, and no further action will be needed from you or your tenants. If you have already accepted, please disregard this portion.
