To make your payment processing experience smoother & safer, we recently added Plaid to the RentRedi app. Plaid is used by more than 12,000 financial institutions (including Venmo, Chime, Betterment, & Acorns) for bank connections. Plaid never shares your personal financial data without your permission, and they never sell or rent it to outside companies.
To update your RentRedi tenant app, watch the video or follow the instructions below! 👇
Ensure you have the latest version of the RentRedi tenant app (how to update apps for Apple / how to update apps for Google Play)
After ensuring you have the latest version of the RentRedi tenant app, open it and tap the Rent icon
Tap the ☰ in the upper right corner
Select Payment Method below
Tap the + in the upper right corner
Select New Bank Account
Tap Continue
Search & select your bank
Enter your credentials
You will be logged in, and your bank account will be added as a payment method! 🎉
For Credit and Debit Card Follow these Instructions
Ensure you have the latest version of the RentRedi tenant app (how to update apps for Apple / how to update apps for Google Play)
After ensuring you have the latest version of the RentRedi tenant app, open it and tap the Rent icon
Tap the ☰ in the upper right corner
Select Payment Methods
Tap the + in the upper right corner
Select New Credit/ Debit Card
Fill out the Billing Address form
Tap Save
Done! Your card is now saved to your account and available to use in RentRedi! 🎉

Don't see the option to login to your bank in RentRedi after updating?
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If that still doesn't resolve the issue, please message our chat support team!
You do NOT need to download the Plaid/a different app. You just need to update your RentRedi tenant app & payment method within the RentRedi tenant app.
