Have an inactive property in your portfolio that you want to remove from your active list without permanently deleting it?
You can use the Archive feature to keep the property on record while hiding it from your main property list. 😄
⚠️ Before You Archive
The Archive button will only be available if all Current Tenants have been unlinked from the units in the property.
If Current Tenants are still linked, the Archive button will be disabled until they are removed. Follow the steps here to unlink your tenants.
📌Steps to Archive a Property
From your RentRedi dashboard, click Properties.
Click View Properties.
Locate and select the property from the list that you want to archive.
Click Archive.
A confirmation pop-up will appear.
Click Archive Property to confirm.
Done! ✅ Your property is now archived!
Want to unarchive the property?
Go to your Properties list
You will see a badge on the archived property, and click on the property
Click Unarchive
And that's it! The property will be active again! ✅
🗒️Important Notes
All Current Tenants must be unlinked from units before the Archive option becomes available.
Archiving a property will hide it from your main property list.
All units within the property will be marked as inactive.
If units have month-to-month leases, automatic charges will stop generating.
Archived properties will not appear in Profit & Loss or Schedule E reports in Accounting.
💡 Tip: Archiving is a great way to keep historical property data in your account without cluttering your active portfolio.
