If you received a notification to complete a phone verification for your application and were informed by TransUnion that your Social Security number doesn't match the information you provided, you'll need to update your application before continuing.
Don't worry—if your application is still in Draft status, you can easily correct your Social Security number by following the steps below.
From the Mobile App:
Sign in to the RentRedi Tenant App.
Tap Apply.
Select your Draft application and tap Edit.
Tap Fill Out Your Information.
In the Identity Verification section, update your Social Security Number and review the rest of your information to make sure everything is correct.
Return to Complete Tenant Screening.
Continue through the tenant screening process:
Verify your identity by answering the security questions.
Enter your payment information (if required).
Note: Some landlords choose to cover the tenant screening fee. If your landlord has enabled this option, you'll be directed to complete your screening at tenant.rentredi.com, and no payment will be required from you.
Complete Income & Asset Verification by securely linking your bank account (if requested).
Review your application and complete the required signature.
Tap Submit to finish your application.
From the Tenant Web Portal
Go to tenant.rentredi.com and sign in to your account.
In the Applications section, locate your Draft application and click Apply Now.
In the Identity Verification section, update your Social Security Number and review the rest of your information to ensure it's correct.
Return to Complete Tenant Screening.
Continue through the tenant screening process:
Verify your identity by answering the security questions.
Enter your payment information (if required).
Note: Some landlords choose to cover the tenant screening fee. If your landlord has enabled this option, simply click Continue—no payment is required.
Complete Income & Asset Verification by securely linking your bank account (if requested).
Review your application and complete the required signature.
Click Submit to finish your application.
Done! 🎉 Your updated application has been submitted for processing.
