Never wonder where an applicant is in the screening process again. 👏

With Tenant Screening statuses, you can now quickly track each applicant's progress, from the moment a screening is requested until the reports are available, directly from your Applications dashboard.

Easily monitor each applicant's progress, identify pending and completed steps, and see if any action is required from you or your applicant.

How to View a Tenant's Screening Status

  1. From your RentRedi dashboard, click the Expand sidebar (») button.

  2. Click Leasing, then select Applications.

  3. In the Tenant Screening column, you'll see the current screening status for each application.

  4. To view more details, open an application and click Screening. You'll see each step of the screening process until the reports are complete.

Screening Statuses Explained

Each tenant screening goes through several steps before the reports are ready.

Here's what each status means in RentRedi: 👇

  1. Not Requested

    • A tenant screening has not yet been requested for the applicant. If you've already received their application, you can manually request a screening. To automatically request screenings for future applicants, enable Auto Tenant Screening.

  2. Requested Screening

  3. Renter Approves Screening

    • The applicant has agreed to complete the tenant screening and has accepted the required disclosures.

  4. Renter Verifies Screening

    • The applicant is verifying their identity with TransUnion as part of the screening process.

  5. Screening Payment

    • The applicant is completing payment for their tenant screening.

  6. Reports Available

    • The applicant has successfully completed the screening, and the screening reports have been generated by TransUnion. You can review the reports from your RentRedi account.

  7. Expired

    • The screening reports are no longer available because they have exceeded TransUnion's 30-day availability period. If you need updated reports, you can request a new tenant screening from the applicant.
