What's new
Previously, applicants paid the screening fee when submitting a rental application. Now, you can choose to have your RentRedi account charged instead.
$39.99 for the standard TransUnion screening (credit, criminal, and eviction reports).
$49.99 if Income & Asset Verification is enabled.
How to Cover the Screening Fee
Using the search bar, type in "auto-tenant screening", then select the first result.
In the Screening Rules section, you'll see a new Covered By column.
Select the unit you'd like to update.
Under Cover the screening fee, turn the switch On.
You'll then see a message to confirm the screening fee is covered by you!
Done! ā You can repeat these steps for additional units where you'd like to cover the screening fee.
Important notes:
Tenants pay the screening fee by default unless you choose to Cover the Screening Fee.
If you only want to pay the standard screening fee of $39.99 to generate a tenant's credit, criminal, and eviction reports, make sure Income & Asset Verification is turned off for that unit.
If Income & Asset Verification is enabled, your account will be charged $49.99 per screening.
This setting is configured per unit, so you can decide which tenants' screening fees you'd like to cover.
The screening fee is charged to the main account holder's payment methodāthe same payment method used for paying the RentRedi subscription.
