At this time, TransUnion only has the ability to process a screening for potential tenants who have a valid U.S. Social Security number. An alternative to an SSN is an Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN).

If you are a tenant trying to complete a tenant screening and do not have a social security number (SSN), you can use your ITIN (Individual Tax Identification Number).

Enter your ITIN in the SSN field, then you will be prompted to manually verify your identity by calling TransUnion. 🙌
