Sent a payout by mistake, or need to stop one before it reaches the recipient? You can cancel a payout from the Send Money page.
Who can cancel a payout
The account owner, and
Teammates who have been granted Send Money access.
How to cancel a payout
From the side navigation of your RentRedi dashboard, click "Payments" and select "Send Money".
Click the "Payouts" tab.
Find the payout you want to stop. You can cancel it in either of two places:
Click the payout to open the transfer details page and select Cancel Payout, or
Use the row menu on the payout in the list and select Cancel Payout.
Confirm the cancellation.
When a payout can be canceled
A payout can be canceled any time before the money reaches the recipient.
If the bank debit from your payment account has not started yet, the payout is simply stopped and no money moves.
If the bank debit has already started, the payout is canceled and the debited funds are automatically refunded back to your payment account.
Once the recipient has received the funds, the payout can no longer be canceled. In that case you would need to arrange the return of funds with the recipient directly.
