If your bank isnβt listed in Plaid, or if you prefer not to use the single sign-on option, you can still add your bank account manually using your routing and account numbers.
Follow the steps below to set up your account and start paying rent: π
Step 1: Add Your Bank Account Manually
To add your bank account using your routing and account numbers: π
Log in to the RentRedi app, and tap Rent.
Tap the three-line menu on the top-right.
Tap Payment Methods
Tap the plus "+" button on the top-right.
Select New Bank account.
Enter your phone number (for a faster login option next time) or click Continue without phone number.
From the bank list, scroll to the bottom and click Connect Manually.
Enter your routing number, then your account number.
Re-enter the account number to confirm.
Enter your name.
Select the account type.
Click Authorize to authorize the deposit.
Click Continue.
What Happens Next?
You will receive a $0.01 deposit in your bank account within 1β2 business days. The deposit description will include a short verification code.

Step 2: Verify Your Bank Account
When you receive the $0.01 deposit and see the code from your bank, return to RentRedi to verify the code:π
Log in to the RentRedi App and tap Rent.
Tap a charge to pay (example: Your rent, utility charge, security deposit, etc.).
Tap on your bank account (Bank Account ending in XXXX)
Enter the code from your bank.
Click Continue.
Done! π Your bank account is now verified, and you can start making payments.

This method requires you to verify your account using a code included in the description of a $0.01 micro-deposit sent by Plaid to your bank account.
You do not need to download a separate Plaid app. Verification is completed directly in RentRedi's Tenant Web Portal (tenant.rentredi.com).
Be sure to complete verification within 72 hours, or the code will expire.
