If your micro-deposit verification didn't go through, don't worry—you don't need to add your bank account again. As long as you entered the correct routing and account numbers, your bank account will remain in your Wallet with a Failed status and a Retry Verification option.
Retry Verification
Log in to tenant.rentredi.com.
Go to Payments ➜ Wallet.
Select the bank account marked Failed.
Click Retry Verification.
Enter the verification code from the description of the $0.01 micro-deposit in your bank account.
Click Continue.
Once the code is accepted, your bank account is verified and ready to use. ✅
Note: If you received a notification that your bank setup failed, you can also click Retry Verification directly from the notification.
Why Verification May Fail
Verification may fail if:
The verification code was entered incorrectly too many times.
The verification code expired. Codes expire 72 hours after the micro-deposit is received.
The routing or account number was entered incorrectly, preventing the micro-deposit from being delivered.
Want to Start Over?
If your bank account information was entered incorrectly or you'd like to use a different bank account:
Remove the failed bank account from your Wallet.
Click Add New and complete the setup again using the Micro-Deposits steps.
Good to know: A failed verification does not result in any charges or affect your rent balance. Your rent is still due on its original due date, so if verification is delayed, you can use another payment method in your Wallet to make your payment on time.
