If you'd like to invite tenants to complete ONLY the TransUnion tenant screening/background report, below are two options that will enable you to collect the background report.
Option 1: From the Prequalification
Invite the prospect to prequalify (If you prefer, the tenant can leave part/all of the prequalification blank, and they'll just have to fill out the TransUnion required details when completing the background report) (How to Invite Applicants to Prequalify)
After the tenant sends the prequalification, open it and click the “•••” on the righthand side
Click “Request a Screening”
The tenant will then get a push notification to complete the screening
After the tenant completes the screening, return to the tenant's prequalification and click into the screening results on the lefthand side!
Option 2: From the Application
Turn on auto-tenant screening (How to Enable Auto-Tenant Screening)
Invite the prospect to apply (If you prefer, the tenant can leave part/all of the prequalification blank, and they'll just have to fill out the TransUnion required details when completing the background report) (How to Invite Tenants to Apply)
The tenant will complete the screening and you’ll be able to go back to the application and click into the screening results on the lefthand side!
Additionally, if you have a paper application, you can scan and upload a PDF version under the tenant's "Documents" tab so that you have the completed paper application stored in a safe place in case you ever need it again!
