You may be wondering, "Why does RentRedi need me to provide a deed?"

The reason a deed is being requested is because we help protect you, your properties, and your tenants from fraud. This helps ensure your tenants don’t pay rent to someone that’s not you! Our underwriting department partners with the payment processor to ensure no one is collecting rent for your properties without legal consent.

Typically, the processor requests a deed or property management agreement as proof of ownership/verification, but below is a list of alternative documentation that may suffice on a case-by-case basis:

  1. Closing documents

  2. Mortgage statements

  3. Property tax documents

Alternatively, if you link us to the digital deed, we can work to verify your account that way!
