The reason a deed is being requested is because we help protect you, your properties, and your tenants from fraud. This helps ensure your tenants don’t pay rent to someone that’s not you! Our underwriting department partners with the payment processor, Propay, to ensure no one is collecting rent for your properties without legal consent.
Propay requests a deed or property management agreement as proof of ownership/verification, but below is a list of alternatives that may suffice on a case-by-case basis:

Property tax documents
