See the Status of Payment Accounts

How long until payment account can accept payments, account approval, the landlord is not ready to process payments, check status

Check Your Payment Account Status

It typically takes 1–3 business days for your payment account to be approved. The status is updated daily!

How to view your payment account status

You can either follow the in-app tour 😄

Or, follow these quick and easy steps:👇

  1. From your RentRedi dashboard, click the Sidebar Toggle.

  2. Click Payments, then select Payment Accounts.

  3. For each account, you’ll see its current status. Once your account is approved, you’ll also see the funding time, updated every 24 hours.

Note: To keep the platform secure and prevent fraud, our payment processor verifies identities and confirms that each person is authorized to collect rent on behalf of the property owner.


What does my payment account status mean?

  • Ready to process (green 🟢)

    • RentRedi has approved your account. Your tenants can make payments, and you can receive deposits!

  • Draft (orange 🟠)

    • Your payment account is not yet fully set up. Click "Finish Setup" to continue and save your account!

  • Under review (orange 🟠)

    • Your tenants can't make payments, and you can't receive deposits yet.

    • We have a verification process in place to make sure that you are the rightful rent collector (either the owner of the property or the property manager).

    • We typically review within 1-3 business days but you can message our Chat Support using the blue chat button in your app for expedited review, and we’ll typically review the same business day (or next if it’s a weekend)!

  • Incomplete (orange 🟠)

    • For former eRentPayment customers, this appears when account creation wasn’t completed after partial migration.

  • Need Info: Check Email (red 🔴)

    • RentRedi's Underwriting team has reviewed and requested documents.

    • Check your email and reply. If you have already replied, then we will review new documentation within 1-3 business days.

    • If you need to expedite the process, please reach out to our 24/7 Chat Support using the blue chat button in your app.

  • Deposits on hold (red 🔴)

    • Your tenants can make payments but you can't receive deposits.

    • Check your email and reply to or contact [email protected] for further instructions.

  • Action Required (red ❌)

    • Updates are needed to complete the validation of your payment account.

    • Your account may be on hold or will be placed on hold soon. This will result in payment disruptions if not remedied.
