Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. When enabled, RentRedi will ask for a verification code in addition to your password when logging in or making important account changes β like updating your Payment Account.
π How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication
From your RentRedi Dashboard, click your name at the top right corner
Select Settings
Scroll down to the Two-Factor Authentication section
Toggle the switch to Enable Two-Factor Authentication
Enter your mobile phone number that will be used to send verification codes
Be sure to include the plus sign (+), followed by your country code and your phone number.
Example:
+1 555-123-4567(for U.S. numbers).
Click Enroll 2FA
A verification code will be sent to the phone number
Once you receive the code, enter it on the pop-up screen and click verify code
Youβre all setβ2FA is now successfully configured on your account. ππ
π‘ Tip: Add a Secondary Phone Number
Want to add a backup phone number for 2FA? You can easily set one up.
With a primary phone number already enrolled, simply enter a second phone number and click Enroll 2FA. Then, follow the same prompts to verify the new number.
Once completed, youβll have two phone numbers securely enabled for 2FA. π
π Want to Disable Two-Factor Authentication?
We strongly recommend keeping two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled to help protect your account. However, if you ever need to disable or remove it, you can follow the steps in this Help Article on how to turn off two-factor authentication.
Note: 2FA enrollment/ unenrollment can only be completed via app.rentredi.com on a desktop or mobile device.
