Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. When enabled, RentRedi will ask for a verification code in addition to your password when logging in or making important account changes β€” like updating your Payment Account.

πŸ”’ How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication

  1. From your RentRedi Dashboard, click the Gear (βš™οΈ) icon in the upper right corner

  2. Select Settings

  3. Scroll down to the Two Factor Authentication section

  4. Enter your password and mobile phone number that will be used to send verification codes

    1. Be sure to include the plus sign (+), followed by your country code and your phone number.

    1. Example: +1 555-123-4567 (for U.S. numbers).

  5. Click Enroll 2FA

  6. Enter the verification code sent to your mobile phone and click OK

πŸ”“ Want to Disable Two-Factor Authentication?

We strongly recommend keeping two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled to help protect your account. However, if you ever need to disable or remove it, you can follow the steps in this Help Article on how to turn off two-factor authentication.

Note: 2FA enrollment/ unenrollment can only be completed via app.rentredi.com on a desktop or mobile device.
