Need to start over with a unit's lease charges? Maybe a mistake was made during lease setup, or you need to update the charge schedule. 🤔
No worries! You can easily recreate lease charges for a unit and replace any overlapping charges.
Follow the steps below to create a new set of lease charges for your tenant.
Steps to Recreate Lease Charges: 👇
From your RentRedi dashboard, click the Properties tab.
Select the unit where you want to recreate lease charges.
In the Lease Details section, click + Add New.
Enter the charge details:
Amount
Lease Start Date and Lease End Date
Optional: Check Month-to-Month if the lease does not have an end date
Charge Every (Select Monthly, Bi-Monthly, or Custom)
On the (The day the charge will be due)
Select the tenant(s) who will be responsible for the charge.
Optional: Enable Credit Boosting for $5.99 per tenant per month.
Review the generated charges:
Preview all upcoming charges
Make final edits to descriptions and due dates
Delete or duplicate charges as needed
Click Create Charges.
Done! 🎉 Your updated lease charges are now set up.
Important Note: ⚠️
If the new charges overlap with existing lease charges, select "Yes, delete overlapping charges." This will remove the previous lease charges and replace them with the newly created lease charges.
No worries! Previously paid charges will be preserved and will not be deleted.
