With Send Money, you can securely send funds directly from your RentRedi Payment Account to anyone outside of RentRedi—without needing their bank account information! 🎉
You can use Send Money to:
Return a tenant's security deposit
Transfer an owner's earnings
Reimburse a tenant
Pay vendors or contractors
Send other eligible payouts
How to Send Money
From your RentRedi dashboard, click the Expand Sidebar » button.
Click Payments and select Send Money.
Click Send Money in the upper-right corner.
Click Add Recipient, then enter the recipient's:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Tip: Previously used recipients will appear under Most Frequent Recipients for faster selection.
Enter the amount you'd like to send.
Under Send From, select the payment account you'd like to use.
Click Continue.
Review the payout details.
(Optional) Add notes under Internal Notes for your records.
(Optional) Uncheck Send a confirmation to my email if you don't want to receive a confirmation email. This option is enabled by default.
Click Send Payout.
For security purposes, verify the transaction by entering the one-time verification code sent to your two-factor authentication (2FA) phone number.
Once your code is verified, your payout will be sent successfully! ✅
From the confirmation screen, you can send another payout, review your recent payout, or click Done to exit.
How Recipients Claim Their Payout
A payout is processed from your selected payment account within 1–3 business days. After you send a payout, the recipient will receive an email letting them know the funds are on the way.
Once the payout is ready, they'll receive another email prompting them to securely complete their payout setup by entering their own bank account information to receive the funds.
Good to know: RentRedi never requires you to collect or store a recipient's bank account information. Recipients securely provide their own banking details during payout setup, helping keep their financial information protected.
Manage your payouts
The Send Money page includes three tabs:
Overview — View a summary of your recent Send Money activity.
Payouts — See a list of all payouts you've sent, including their current status.
Recipients — View and manage the recipients you've previously sent money to.
