old tenant email linked, can't change, tenant new email, update renters email

If you need to update a linked or connected tenant's email address because it was entered incorrectly or needs to be changed to a different email, follow the steps below!

  1. Unlink the tenant with the incorrect email

  2. Add the tenant with the correct email (it should automatically find their info)

  3. Recreate the lease charges to ensure they can view their rent charges

  4. Say "yes" when asked if overlapping charges should be deleted

If the tenant has access to the account and wants to change their email, they can follow the steps below!

  1. Open the RentRedi Tenant App

  2. Login via the connected email address

  3. Tap the Settings tile at the bottom of the page

  4. Delete the existing email and enter the new email you'd like to connect

  5. Select Save Changes

Done! πŸŽ‰

The tenant can now log in with the new email and it will update in the landlord portal.
