You can now easily export your tenant payments from RentRedi and import them into QuickBooks Online! 🎉
Important Note: The QuickBooks export works with QuickBooks Online or Desktop/Pro 2018 or older. Versions 2019 and 2020 Desktop/Pro do not import properly.
Phase 1: RentRedi Export
Follow the steps below to export your tenants' payments in RentRedi: 👇
From your RentRedi dashboard, click the Expand Sidebar button.
Click Payments, then select Export Charges.
Select an Export Type:
Spreadsheets
QuickBooks Online
QuickBooks Desktop/Pro
QuickBooks Enterprise.
Select the company or payment account to export charges and payments for.
Set a start and end date.
Click Export.
Done! ✅
Phase 2: Importing to QuickBooks
In QuickBooks Online, select Transactions from the left menu, then choose Bank Transactions.
Select the Link Account ▼ dropdown and choose Upload from File. If your account isn't connected yet, you may see Upload Transactions Manually instead.
Select Browse (or Drag and Drop) and choose the file you downloaded from your bank.
Select Continue.
From the QuickBooks Account dropdown, select the appropriate bank or credit card account, then select Continue.
Map the columns in your CSV file to the corresponding QuickBooks fields, then select Continue.
Review and select the transactions you want to import, then select Continue.
When prompted, select Yes to import the transactions.
Select Done when the import is complete.
Your imported transactions will appear in the For Review tab of the Bank Transactions page, where you can review, match, categorize, or add them to your books.
